2.聽March 15: Fiddle Kid Returns to 精东影业
Danny Gillis '28 grew up delighting Conte Forum with his air fiddling performances鈥攁nd this spring he announced his return to 精东影业 as a member of the first-year class. Men's hockey fans were delighted by the news, and by their team's a few weeks later to become Hockey East Champions.

3.聽March 20: Academic Wall of Honor unveiled聽
To celebrate the academic achievements of 精东影业 students past and present, a聽Wall of Honor聽was installed in Gasson Hall listing the names of students who earned coveted Rhodes, Marshall, Churchill, Goldwater, and Truman scholarships during their undergraduate years.聽

4.聽April 29: 精东影业 makes Forbes鈥 list of 鈥楴ew Ivies鈥
Boston College was included in a list of 10 private universities "turning out the smart, driven graduates craved by employers of all types,鈥 put together by Forbes聽magazine. The accolade聽was viewed more than half a million times across 精东影业's social channels, and shared by 800 proud followers.聽

5. May 26: 精东影业 Lacrosse does it again

6. June 15: Alumnus Greg Boyle, S.J., receives Medal of Freedom
The Jesuit Catholic priest and founder of Homeboy Industries received the nation's highest civilian honor for his work with former gang members in Los Angeles. Hundreds of members of the 精东影业 community celebrated his inspiring service on .听听

7. July 1: Heather Cox Richardson wins Baldacci Award
It was another big year for the 精东影业 history professor whose newsletter, "Letters from an American," surpassed one million subcribers on Substack and earned her the聽Baldacci Award for Literary Activism, which was presented by documentary filmmaker Ken Burns.聽

8. July 15: Remembering Jack Connors聽
"He was always a force for good." University President William P. Leahy, S.J., joined the 精东影业 and greater Boston community in celebrating the life of devoted alumnus and benefactor聽Jack Connors 鈥63, H鈥07 after his passing at age 82.聽

9. July 28: Olympic Eagles
精东影业 was well represented at the Paris Summer Games, with sailor Erika Reineke '17聽competing for Team USA (accompanied by 精东影业 coach Greg Wilkinson) and marathon runner聽Laura Hottenrott '16 representing her native Germany. 精东影业 Assistant Fencing Coach Ralf Bissdorf came home with a gold medal聽after leading the American women鈥檚 foil squad to its first team gold. 10. August 25: Smile, Class of 2028!

11. September 21: 精东影业 Football Defeats Michigan State in Red Bandanna Game

"Another victory for Welles!!!" one fan 聽after 精东影业 defeated Michigan State in the annual Red Bandanna Game. The football season gave fans plenty to cheer about, including new head coach Bill O'Brien and a special by Doug Flutie and聽and Gerald Phelan to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Miracle in Miami聽(which prompted comments from more than 550 fans on ).听

12. November 21: Tom Holland visits the Campus School
The Spider-Man actor surprised students and staff at the special needs school when he stopped by during a trip to Boston.聽鈥淗e couldn't have been more down to earth,鈥 said the school's marketing manager, Jennifer Miller. Holland's nonprofit also awarded the Campus School a $25k grant for adaptive equipment.
