Presenter: 聽Rev. William D. Roozeboom

Ministry is challenging and stressful; it requires one鈥檚 whole being. Thus, it can easily become overwhelming and exhausting鈥攑articularly in light of the neurocircuitry of the stress response in our brains. This presentation explores the neurophysiology of the stress response, our predisposition toward hypervigilance due to the brain鈥檚 negativity bias, and how regular practices of wellness help increase our capacity to respond effectively and empathically in ministry; to love our neighbor as we love ourselves.聽 聽聽
