Vatican II's "Pastoral Constitution on the Church in the Modern World" encouraged believers to read the "signs of the times" in order to discern where God is to be found in the world and how we are to respond.聽 This electoral season can be read as revealing a number of significant social issues that ought to be considered as Catholic citizens go to the voting booths.
