Yelana Loiselle, LICSW, is a part-time Faculty member at the Boston College School of Social Work as well as an alumni of the program. She teaches Basic Skills in Clinical Social Work and Clinical Practice with Adults.
Yelana also works full-time at the Boston VA Hospital, where she has served in both clinical and case management roles. She has worked with unhoused veterans through a partnership with the VA and HUD to secure permanent housing. Yelana is transitioning to a new role within the Boston VA as general mental health clinician where she will provide psychotherapy and short-term case management to veterans.
Prior to working for the VA, Yelana worked as the assistant program director at Aspire Health Alliance where she supervised an interdisciplinary team in overseeing an Adult Community Clinical Supports program, a Department of Mental Health contract.
Yelana’s areas of expertise include CBT, Solution-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy and Trauma-Informed Care. Yelana is a lifelong learner and is always looking to continue her training in different modalities of therapy.
