Profile

Joseph Cioni joined the Portico Program in 2009. He wrote his dissertation on the ethical thought of Bernard Lonergan and its application to the subprime mortgage crisis. Prior to joining the Portico team, he held a teaching position in the Carroll School of Management鈥檚 Introduction to Ethics course. Joseph introduced several primary ethical frameworks to first year Carroll School students and examined how those frameworks can be utilized in the acts of moral reasoning and decision-making.

From 2006 to 2008, he held the position of instructor in Boston College鈥檚 PULSE program where he lectured and led discussions centering on theology, ethics, and political philosophy.
